1 in 6 UK species are at risk of extinction. The devastating impact of habitat loss means it’s vital we act together now to protect our precious green spaces.

Small local actions for nature can make a big difference. Actions like wildlife-friendly food growing or installing a bee hotel help create valuable stepping stones for wildlife and link up larger green spaces where nature can thrive.

Donate today and your gift could provide the tools, knowledge and skills communities need to transform their local green spaces into dynamic, connected safe havens where wildlife can flourish.

Please donate this spring to support our amazing community of people working together to protect local wildlife.

What is Team Wilder?

Team Wilder is a growing community of people, working together to champion nature-friendly practices and create green corridors.

The movement aims to tackle the global problem of biodiversity loss on a super-local level, making actions which care for nature on a day-to-day basis the ‘new norm’.

You don’t have to do big things for nature all the time. It’s sometimes just the little things that gradually build up that can really make a difference.
Sue, Wildlife Champion

We have supported 20 wildlife champions as they developed community-led projects across 12 postcodes and worked with 118 local community groups as they take action for nature on their patch – but our work to create real, long-term change doesn’t stop here.

Donate this spring to help make taking action for nature a social norm – your gift could empower more people to take action for nature in every postcode in Avon

How can my gift help?

Donate this spring and you could help create a future where everyone is inspired to take action for the wildlife they love.

Your gift could help:

  • showcase the work local wildlife pioneers are doing to make space for nature in their community, inspiring others to take nurturing nature into their own hands.

  • support wonderful Wildlife Champions through training and site-specific advice as they take community-led action to make Avon a wilder and more nature-friendly place.

  • provide communities with expert advice on how they can transform their local green spaces into thriving sanctuaries for wildlife.
