Welcome to Grow Wilder

Grow Wilder was established in 2012 as an urban growing hub, learning centre, and wildflower nursery for Bristol and surrounding areas.

Avon Wildlife Trust has a vision to establish Grow Wilder as a special place that engages and inspires local people and communities to support nature’s recovery. Through demonstration, learning, and events, Grow Wilder connects people with nature, to restore and conserve natural habitats in Bristol and beyond.

Wild Work Days

Why not get your team together for a Wild Work Day? Give your staff a real insight into how we are working to improve the environment for nature

Wild Work Days

Our five year strategy

Following Bristol City Council’s announcement of an ecological emergency, we want Grow Wilder to aid the urgent activity that needs to take place to enable nature's recovery.

In 2012, Grow Wilder was set up as a response to the negative impacts of modern food growing systems. Since then the site has expanded activities to become a deeply valued urban wildlife site, community hub and education centre.
