Team Wilder Resources

Let's do this

There are many routes to help nature's recovery and land/spaces of any size helps contribute. We want local people to step forward and give nature a voice and ensure that nature is placed at the heart of all decisions. Team Wilder will equip and support you and your community group to make a difference to nature. We're here to share the knowledge and experience gained from here at the Trust and people and communities carrying out these actions.

The growing and evolving resources below are designed to make it possible and easy to do something for nature. There is local advice, pictures, experience and 'how to's'. You can also get free professional advice from the Team Wilder Community Ecologist.

1. Setting up a group

Community Groups improve the local area for all residents, including get-togethers, food growing, low cost toddler groups, music, story telling, celebrations. They bring people together from all backgrounds and strengthen community spirit. They can be a street whatsapp group, locals who want to protect a green spaces, a 'friends of' group or people with a common interest.
