Insect Collage Workshop with illustrator Marian Hill

Spend a morning learning how to collage beautiful illustrations of insects. This workshop is suitable for all levels of ability. All basic materials will be supplied but feel free to bring your own scissors and any interesting collage material which you have at home.

After 20 years of working as a general freelance illustrator Marian decided to focus on insects and raise public awareness about the urgent need to protect UK wildlife. So far, she has illustrated over 300 UK invertebrates and is only just getting started. Her project Buzz & Scuttle was featured on BBC Springwatch and her public information posters are being displayed in a growing number of parks, playgrounds and nature gardens.

This workshop is aimed at adults but is suitable for ages 12 upwards if supervised (each person attending needs a ticket). If you would like to bring younger children to a shorter, simplified version of this workshop please see our Family Workshop HERE.
