Youth Event: Beach Clean at Sand Bay with the Marine Conservation Society
Event details
About the event
Marine Conservation Society's Learning Officer, Stephen Kelly, will be leading us on a beach clean to help stop harmful litter from reaching the ocean and collect vital data that can be used to bring about positive change for our seas. The data collected from beach cleans is hugely important, helping the Marine Conservation Society track the common items we find on our beaches and then campaign for change to reduce this pollution.
By taking part, you’ll be making a real difference, because every small action adds up. Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier ocean for everyone to enjoy.
Want to learn even more about why beach cleans are so important? Come to Stephen's online talk on 14th May at 6:30pm: https://Beach-Clean-Talk.eventbrite.co.uk
