Avon Wildlife Trust are launching a pop-up pre-loved fashion shop as part of the ‘Sparks Project’ at the old M&S Stores, Broadmead. If you are a people person, have experience in, or are interested in retail, like organizing and planning events, and want to volunteer for a good cause, then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for volunteers who can help with planning and designing our shop, and those who can shine on the shop floor selling pre-loved fashion to help raise money for nature’s recovery.
Your unique skills and personality are valuable to us and really do make a difference, so please do get in touch if this sound like you!
Areas of volunteer activity
Tasks may include any or all of the following:

Support with planning, organisation and creating stylish shop floor displays.

Providing excellent customer service, including processing sales and returns.

Preparing and replenishing stock, sorting, and pricing.

Stock-take and other administrative tasks.

Opening and closing the store.
Desirable attributes and skills

Good work ethic and organisational skills.

A good communicator with a positive outlook.

A reliable and trustworthy team player.

Good basic IT, numeracy, and administration skills.

Flexible and able to think on your feet in a busy retail environment.

Experience in retail or e-commerce or would be useful but not essential.

Interested in the work of Avon Wildlife Trust.

The Sparks Project is an innovative hub of sustainability, creativity, and education in the heart of Bristol. The grand central high street opening is planned for mid-May 2023.
