What makes your garden wildlife friendly?

Even though we have areas where we plant our berries and vegetables deliberately, we always leave any flower that randomly shoots up, encouraging the pollinators in our garden. Near our pond, there is a good size bug hotel to attract more insects. We do not use any pesticides, instead, we do use crafty methods that are wildlife as well as child friendly. We also tend to let the grass and certain weed grow in our garden.
