This General Election is incredibly important for wildlife and wild spaces across the UK, and beyond. The UK is already classified as one of the world’s most nature-depleted countries, the incoming Government will be responsible for turning this around. On Saturday 22nd June, the Wildlife Trusts will be joining other nature and environmental organisations including the RSPB, National Trust, WWF, WWT and Climate Coalition and concerned individuals from all over the country in London for the Restore Nature Now March. The Wildlife Trust's were part of a coalition that includes the UK’s major nature and climate groups, including Chester Zoo and Wildlife & Countryside Link and many others to stage a landmark General Election event, to put the major political parties in the hot seat on their nature and climate policies.
